Excuses are limiting thoughts such as, “but we’ve always done it that way,” “we can’t do that because we’re too busy right now,” or “I don’t delegate work because I have to make sure it is done right (or on time).”

These leaders also recognize they don’t have to have all the answers. But they are deeply committed to creating a healthy culture and promoting effective communication techniques.
